Dan Hecimovich, owner of Roof Masters, comes from a long line of roofing contractors. His father-in-law, Ed Zibolski, got into roofing as a teenager working with his dad at EZ Roofers. Eventually, Ed started his own commercial roofing company, Elite Roofing and Sheet Metal in Milwaukee, which became one of the largest and most respected commercial contractors in the state. Ed specialized in big projects like government buildings and arenas all over Wisconsin and Illinois.  Zibolski became known for his expertise in government contracts that created a family legacy in construction that carries on to this day. Dan has been living in Tomahawk since 1994, where he moved to run the Zibolski family's hotels, resort, and restaurant.
